Sandy's Bakehouse Quality Bakers

Sandy's Bakehouse was established in 1979, with a chain of modern “hot bread shops”, supplying quality bread and morning goods to retail outlets and to wholesale customers.

Due to shifting market forces, Sandy’s Bakehouse began to move out of the retail market in 1994 to focus attention towards the expanding wholesale market.

This shift in market emphasis culminated in 1995 with the sale of the last retail outlet and the purchase of a dedicated, purpose built bakery focused on the needs of the wholesale customer.

We hold the BRC Global Standard Grade "A" - Food Safety and the ISO 9001:2008 standard, providing you with the assurance of a quality product every day.

Attention to detail and our willingness to develop specialist products means we are always able to meet a client’s specific needs. Our product list is diverse and includes both standard bread and morning goods, as well as more specialised lines such as panini, ciabatta and focaccia, with a wide variety of flavourings.

Our full production list extends to over 250 different lines, to meet individual customer needs.

A fleet of modern vehicles carry our products, every day of the week, to a customer base which extends throughout the North West, Yorkshire and The Midlands. We currently supply a variety of customers including catering organisations, retail outlets and public sector facilities.
